coke machine.
the title of this blog entry has almost no relation to the content of this entry. so don't worry about me becoming more shallow or something. it's not happening! never!
just chatted with zee on msn.
he's an emo kheed!
what the hell la.
unexpectedly so.
was just walking down town with desmond today.
met shinn on the way.
coincidental.
to think the three of us met the day before as well.
wanted to blog yesterday.
met larry and aaron from fuyo.
aaron can headspin.
wahhh!
dope dope dope!
larry was lame.
fuyo leader! hello hello!
here are a few quotes from larry:
"ay that girl's ass damn nice! i know why you all are here!!!"
"when you're a bboy, chics stop to watch you dance. but when you're a salsa dancer, you get to dance with the chics!"
haha! cracked me up.
missing the old times.
can't wait for promos to end.
maybe then the sky will brighten.
the clouds will clear.
hopefully.
you know sometimes you put money into the coke machine.
but no drink comes out.
remembering the web of inter-connectivity.
3D web.
we're linked to everyone around us now.
but we're linked by time as well,
to the beliefs and dreams executed by those before us.
and we may well be affected even by those after us.
all i'm saying is that every action we do,
is like prodding a spiderweb.
one inch of the web shakes,
the whole web trembles.
that each affects the other
and the other affects the next
the world is full of stories
but the stories are all one
from the book the 5 people you meet in heaven.
people say tuesdays with morrie was a better book by the author.
but the 5 people you meet in heaven is a good read nonetheless.
equally inspiring for me actually.
some people might disagree with the quote.
well, i'm not pushing the idea anyways.
maybe someday when you've experienced that,
would you realise its truth.
i've managed to experience this first hand.
the web of connectivity.
of how one affects the other.
i experienced it first in sec 3.
through lltc.
but it was unexplainable then.
things became clearer when pbear made the presentation,
on how we're connected through time,
on how we continue la salle's mission 350 over years ago,
till now.
and then i began to see the connections.
connections everywhere.
between you and me.
i realise how one hard nudge on the web,
can affect me.
seeing the connections.
a gift or a curse,
i wouldn't know.
i wouldn't question it either.
sigh.
i don't usually verbalise a sigh this way.
but i felt the impulse to.
tsk.
i need the dead poets now.
you know sometimes you put money into the coke machine.
but no drink comes out.
we curse at it, swear at it.
we're affected.
what an analogy.
what a reality.
maybe we shouldn't care.
but then again,
how possible would it be.
we're affected after all.
just wondering.
it's all about choices.
was just talking to kann about it.
and he made me realise i had to make my blog entry a bit more clear.
cos i think i hid my message too well.
what i was trying to say, was that
even though there were choices to be made,
(to curse and swear or to hold back)
we're sometimes so clouded by our social conditioning
that we do not see the avenue to make the choice anymore.
and perhaps that's why we still curse and swear,
despite knowing that nothing will result from it.
perhaps that's why we waste our effort.
we're affected.
over the sea and far away
she's waiting like an iceberg
waiting to change
but she's cold inside
she wants to be like the water
